About Avotek’s Learning Center

We opened our learning center in the summer of 2024 with a mission of bolstering AMTS instructors. We offer courses from how to teach adult learners, meet today’s curriculum challenges, and learn about subject-specific topics. The center accommodates 20 people.

One classroom is configured for traditional lecture style instruction with first-class airline seats. The other is set up for lab type work with workbenches. The center also houses a large museum/display area with many aircraft artifacts, training aids, and interesting samples, as well as examples of aircraft construction, maintenance, and history.

The learning center is at our facility in Weyers Cave, Virginia. Information is below about traveling here, where to stay, and what to do.
